Credit Guarantee and Investment Facility

Overview

The Credit Guarantee and Investment Facility (CGIF) was established in November 2010 to strengthen financial stability and support long-term investments in the ASEAN+3 region. It provides guarantees for bonds issued in local currencies, which helps companies borrow money for longer periods without relying on short-term foreign loans. CGIF is backed by contributions from ASEAN countries, the People's Republic of China, Japan, the Republic of Korea, and the Asian Development Bank.

In the CIA First Issuance Video, we captured how a KHR 14 billion bond empowered a school to shape the future of Cambodian education. While the script was provided by CGIF, we managed all visual aspects: crafting the storyboard, filming on-site interviews, incorporating animated infographics, and carefully editing stock footage to align with the narrative. The result was a professional, high-quality output that clearly communicated CGIF’s impact. 

Meanwhile, in the Schneitec Dynamic Issuance video, we visualized a turning point for Cambodia's infrastructure financing - a KHR 196.64 billion project bond with a 15-year tenor, the longest in the country's history. Developed on the same strict schedule, we focused on telling the story clearly to a broader audience. The video used a dynamic mix of talking head interviews as b-roll, supplied photos, and stock footage.

We produced a video for HRTA’s IDR 1.0 trillion bond issuance – a milestone under CGIF’s first local currency bond program in Indonesia. Through purposeful scripting, motion graphics, and localized visuals, we simplified their financial story on how it is impacting the Indonesia and ASEAN region. We made sure the content was easy to follow while still showing the impact of credit enhancement and investor confidence.
 

These projects challenged us to explain a complex topic in a clear and interesting way. It brought us closer as a team as it helped us grow both creatively and professionally.
